Neck Rest

For individuals exhibiting extensor hyper tonus, a neck support which places no pressure on the occipital area is important. The neck is placed in slight flexion which reduces postural tone in the neck extensors and enables the individual to direct his/her gaze downwards, forwards, and improves upper extremity function.

  • Angled slightly downward when mounted in a neutral position
  • Well rounded to accommodate the cervical contour¬†
  • Front is curved downward to avoid mandible contact
  • Upper surface is slightly contoured to avoid ear contact
